Summer Slam '91 Rebooked

  1. The Nasty Boys def. The Rockers when Shawn Michaels accidentally reversed a small package by Marty Jannetty which placed Jerry Saggs on top of Jannetty for the pinfall.  The Rockers briefly had a discussion after the match but gave each other a hug afterward

  2. The Big Bossman def. The Mountie with the sidewalk slam.  As stipulated, the Mountie spent a night in a NYC jail.

  3. Virgil def. "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (c) with the Million Dollar Dream (for the Million Dollar Belt).  Earlier in the match, DiBiase had used the sleeper hold to put Virgil to sleep.  However, he released the hold too early to celebrate and, from behind, Roddy Piper entered the ring to revive Virgil.

  4. The Natural Disasters def. The Bushwhackers when Earthquake hit Luke with the sit-down splash.  After the match, the Disasters wanted to attack Andre The Giant, but the Legion of Doom came to ring side and cleared the Disasters from ringside.

  5. Bret "Hitman" Hart def. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning(c) with the sharp shooter (for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship)

  6. IRS and the British Bulldog were both counted out as they brawled outside

  7. Legion of Doom def. Power and Glory (c) when LOD hit Paul Roma with the Doomsday Device (for the World Tag Team Championship)

  8. The Ultimate Warrior def. Jake "The Snake" Roberts via DQ when The Undertaker attacked the Warrior outside the ring.  Jake and the Undertaker attempted to stuff the Warrior into a body bag but the Warrior fought both men off.

  9. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair def. "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich when Flair used the ropes as leverage when pinning Von Erich.

  10. Hulk Hogan & Sid Justice def. Sgt. Slaughter, General Adnan, and Col. Mustafa when Hogan hit Sgt. Slaughter with the atomic leg drop

 

AFTERMATH:

  1. WWF championship committee deemed the never-pinned Undertaker the #1 contender to Hogan's title.

  2. Sgt. Slaughter was ashamed of what he'd done and asked America for forgiveness.  He became face.

  3. Ric Flair began a feud with Roddy Piper when Flair attacked Piper on a TV taping.

  4. Jake Roberts & The Undertaker interrupted Randy Savage's wedding on a TV taping.  Randy Savage was reactivated a week before Survivor Series.

  5. Legion of Doom started a feud with the Natural Disasters.

  6. Ted DiBiase regained the Million Dollar Belt from Virgil just before Survivor Series.

  7. The Big Bossman started a feud with IRS after Bossman was audited on a TV taping
