Summer Slam '90 Rebooked

  1. Power & Glory def. The Rockers when Paul Roma hit Marty Jannetty with a splash from the top rope.  Shawn Michaels was seriously injured during the match and couldn't compete.

  2. The Big Bossman def. "Ravishing" Rick Rude with the sidewalk slam.  After the match, Bossman handcuffed Heenan then slapped him.

  3. "The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich def. "The Model" Rick Martel via DQ when Martel sprayed the referee with "Arrogance" instead of Von Erich.

  4. The Legion of Doom def. The Orient Express when Tanaka was hit with the Doomsday device.

  5. Jake "The Snake" Roberts def. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning (c) when Henning attempted a body slam but Roberts reversed it into a DDT (for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship)

  6. "Macho King" Randy Savage def. Dusty Rhodes with Sherri's loaded purse.  During the match, Ted DiBiase revealed that Sapphire was his new valet.  After the match, Savage demanded a title shot at the Ultimate Warrior.

  7. The Hart Foundation def. Demolition (c) when Bret Hart cradled Crush after Jim Neidhart delivered a flying body tackle.  During the match the Legion of Doom revealed that Ax was hiding under the ring so Demolition had 3 men illegally at ringside (for the World Tag Team Championship)

  8. "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase def. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan via DQ when Dusty Rhodes attacked DiBiase in the ring.

  9. Sgt. Slaughter def. Nikolai Volkoff with the camel clutch

  10. Hulk Hogan & The Ultimate Warrior def. Dino Bravo & Earthquake when Dino Bravo was hit with the gorilla press slam by Warrior then the atomic leg drop by Hogan to the back of the head

 

AFTERMATH:

  1. Marty Jannetty was involved in a number of singles matches against either member of Power and Glory until Shawn Michaels recovered.

  2. Bobby Heenan continued his feud against the Big Bossman's mother.

  3. Demolition started a feud with the Legion of Doom for interfering in their match

  4. Randy Savage was refused a title shot by Warrior.  Savage reacted by attacking the Warrior on a TV taping.

  5. The Hart Foundation began a feud with Bobby Heenan's Powers of Pain.

  6. Sgt. Slaughter headed a campaign to support Iraq during the Middle East conflict.

  7. The Hogan/Earthquake feud continued as nothing was proven at Summer Slam.
