Summer Slam '89 Rebooked

The Rougeau Brothers def. The Rockers.  Marty Jannetty had Ramon pinned but, behind the referee's back, Jacques hit Jannetty with a double-ax handle from the second rope.

Mr. Perfect def. Bret "Hitman" Hart with the perfect-plex after Jimmy Hart tripped Bret as he was being Irish-whipped.

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper def. "Ravishing" Rick Rude (c) via DQ when Rude attached Piper with the kilt belt (for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship).

Demolition def. The Twin Towers.  Bossman hit Smash with Slick's cane and covered him for the win.  As the referee was distracted with Akeem and Ax, Dusty Rhodes entered the ring and delivered the atomic elbow on the back of Bossman's head.  He then put Smash on top of the Bossman for the win.

The Ultimate Warrior def. Andre "The Giant" via countout after the Warrior clotheslined Andre out of the ring.

Dusty Rhodes def. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine when special referee Ronnie Garvin knocked out Valentine after Valentine body-slammed Garvin.

The Brain Busters (c) def. Strikeforce via countout when Santana accidentally hit Martel with the flying forearm and knocked him out of the ring.  Afterward, Martel shoved Santana away and went back to the locker room by himself (for the World Tag Team Championship)

Ted DiBiase and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan were both counted out.

Dino Bravo def. Hercules with the side suplex.

Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake def. "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Zeus when Hogan slammed Zeus then delivered the atomic leg drop.
