  3. Mr. T def. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper by DQ when Piper body-slammed Mr. T during a boxing match

  4. Randy "Macho Man" Savage def. Tito Santana (c) when he hit Santana with brass knuckles as Santana did a back suplex on Savage (for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship)

  5. The Iron Shiek & Nikolai Volkoff def. Ted Arcidi & Corporal Kirshner when Volkoff hit Kirshner with a knee drop off the ropes.

  6. "Magnificent" Don Muraco def. Tony Atlas with the "tombstone" piledriver

  7. Andre "The Giant" wins the 15-man WWF vs. NFL battle royal by last eliminating "Refrigerator" William Perry.  It featured 6 NFL players and 9 WWF wrestlers.  Order of Elimination:

  10. "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff def. Hercules via DQ when Bobby Heenan attacked Orndorff from behind with no effect.

  11. The Funk Brothers (Terry & Hoss) def. The Junkyard Dog & Hillbilly Jim when Terry Funk rolled up Hillbilly Jim and held the tights for leverage.  After the match, JYD branded Jimmy Hart outside the ring.

  12. Hulk Hogan (c) def. King Kong Bundy with the atomic leg drop (for the World Heavyweight Championship).  Earlier in the match, Bundy pinned Hogan for a 3-count after a splash but the referee didn't notice Hogan's foot on the rope.  The referee corrected his mistake and allowed the match to continue.  Heenan vehemently 

 

AFTERMATH:

  • In a post-match interview, Mean Gene was congratulating Andre The Giant on his battle royal victory when Bobby Heenan interrupted.  Heenan asked Andre when was he going to wake up and realize that Hogan was using him.  Andre grabbed Heenan by the collar and told him not to disrespect his best friend ever again.
